When You Need an Experienced Thought Partner

Thinking out loud helps amplify your insight

You may be working through a difficult board relationship, an early financial concern, or your first months in a new role.

Or you may be a board chair who wants experienced perspective on governance and leadership continuity, and on how to support your chief executive without stepping into management.

This is a confidential working relationship with someone who has sat in the chair and understands both the responsibility and the constraints. People sometimes come looking for an executive coach. This is adjacent but not the same. Coaching develops you as a leader. This is about the decisions in front of you, and how you want to manage them.

Support may include

  • Strategic sounding board

  • CEO and board chair counsel

  • Decision support

  • Leadership transition guidance

  • Governance perspective

  • Accountability and follow-through

What it looks like

The work is anchored to a specific need, not conversation for its own sake. We identify the decisions, relationships, or issues that need attention and set a useful cadence.

I listen, ask direct questions, test assumptions, help separate urgent from important, and bring financial, operational, and governance perspective. When you make a decision, I help you define what happens next and hold the follow-through.

If it turns out you need a focused project or a different kind of support, I'll say so. I won't let an advisory relationship expand without purpose.

Better decisions, more confidence, and experienced support when it matters.
