Strategic capacity you need, not a menu of services.
Nonprofit leaders rarely start by deciding they need a particular service. They start with a decision, a transition, a financial concern, or a governance challenge that's become too consequential to handle through routine management.
I provide temporary strategic capacity for those moments. The form changes to fit the situation. The purpose doesn't: help the organization understand what's happening, make sound decisions, align leadership, and move forward with discipline.
What strategic capacity means
Strategic capacity is the time, attention, and experienced leadership required to work through an issue of that size while the organization keeps serving its mission. Most organizations already have capable people. What they don't have is enough bandwidth to step out of daily operations, examine the whole situation, and lead the work through decision and execution.
Four ways to engage
Each engagement is built around your organization
You don't need to define the engagement before reaching out. A first conversation starts with what's become difficult, why it matters now, and what you need to accomplish.
From there, I assemble the right mix of financial analysis, organizational assessment, stakeholder conversations, governance work, planning, program review, and implementation support. These are tools inside an engagement, not a menu to choose from.
